American Express Business Travel Account (BTA)  A centrally billed, cardless American Express account that allows travelers to have their travel expenses charged directly to a department account. BTA accounts reduce Travel Expense (TEC) submissions; they also include customized accounting features that help save accounting costs. Department travel program coordinators establish and manage these accounts. Contact your travel program coordinator for approval to use the department BTA.
