State Garage rentals are available to State employees only.
Renting a vehicle from one of the five State garages is often the most economical option for short- and long-term rentals.
How to pay: Bring your driver's license, your department billing code (check with your Fleet Card Administrator or Accounting Office for details), and State of California ID to have charges billed to your department.
Fuel: Fuel costs are included in the mileage charge. An OFAM Voyager fleet card is issued with each vehicle.
How to reserve:
The five State garages are located in Fresno, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, and San Diego. Reserve a vehicle by calling the most convenient State garage.
For the Sacramento garage you may make reservations online. Note that only sedans may be reserved using the online reservation system; to reserve other vehicle types, call the Sacramento garage.
